Sushant Singh Rajput case: Complaint against 5 Bihar cops for 'maligning Maharashtra'
A complaint has been filed against 5 Bihar cops for 'maligning Maharashtra' by carrying out an 'illegal investigation' in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

A complaint has been registered at Bandra police station in Mumbai against five policemen of Bihar Police in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput case. complainant claimed that investigation done by Bihar Police was ‘illegal’ and that ‘Zero FIR’ (a case that can be registered at any police station and n transferred to relevant location) should have been transferred to Mumbai Police as per law. complaint termed move by Bihar Police ‘without authority’ as ‘reprehensible’ and that it maligned state of Maharashtra.

Bihar police’s probe in Sushant case illegal, states complaint
A person named Ajay Singh Sengar in his complaint to Bandra police station wrote, “In Sushant Singh Rajut suicide case, Zero FIR registered in Patna, Bihar should have been transferred to Mumbai as per law. However, that was t done and going against law, y started investigating case in Mumbai, though y h right to do so. y created hurdles in government work and brought a stain on Mahrahtra and did hooligaism at Bandra Police.”
He sought a registration of a case against five police officials of Bihar Police as per sections 353, 352 and 186 of Indian Penal Code.

Bihar Police h registered an FIR, on Sushant’s far KK Singh’s complaint, on July 25, against Rhea Chakraborty and ors on charges of abetment to suicide, cheating, conspiracy, among ors. KK Singh h claimed that Rhea h befriended his son with sole intention of furring her career prospects, apart from accusing her of distancing Sushant from family, stealing his money and valuables, ministering to him an overdose of medicines and more.

A four-member team of Bihar Police h n arrived in Mumbai. y h n recorded statements of 10 persons including Ankita Lokhande and Sushant’s sister Meetu.
In Bihar government's affidavit to Supreme Court, y alleged ‘n-co-operation from Mumbai Police’ as y recommended Centre for a CBI probe in case. Centre accepted request and CBI n registered an FIR against Rhea and ors.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Supreme Court is hearing plea of Rhea’s transfer petition of case from Bihar to Mumbai, where Justice Hrishikesh Roy asked her that she herself h sought a CBI probe into case.
