Rhea leaves after 10 hours of grilling by CBI. She has been summoned once again.

Sandip Ssingh was finally tracked down by Republic TV after days of hide-and-seek with the media. The producer, who is under lens for his contradictory statements and suspicious conduct, was snapped on Republic TV camera. This is after two sting operations at his residence where staff at his home and at the building gave evasive replies. 

The CBI has put up a notice at hotelier Gaurav Arya's hotel, asking him to appear before the agency before August 31. The hotel is named The Tamarind and is located at Anjuna, in Goa. The hotelier's chats with Rhea, allegedly about drugs, had been leaked before. His lawyer, however, had denied all allegations.  

Sushant's close associate Samuel Miranda was spotted at the DRDO guesthouse, for questioning by CBI. Miranda had been summoned by the CBI previously as well.

After arriving at the DRDO guesthouse at around 10.40 AM, the questioning of Rhea Chakraborty by CBI officials is still underway, after over 6 hours. This is Rhea's first appearance before the CBI, though her brother Showik was summoned for questioning before. The siblings, however, were grilled separately on Friday.

NCB sources have told Republic TV that Rhea Chakraborty was trying to pin the blame on other acccused and witnesses by giving an interview. They also stated that she was trying to distance herself from the drugs link. Rhea has been booked by the agency after leak of her chats and submission of evidence by ED to CBI.

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde on Friday denied claims that he did not raise any bills to fight her case against Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. Rhea, the number one accused in Sushant’s death case, had claimed to Smita Parikh in a phone call on Wednesday that her lawyer offered to fight her case for free. However, Maneshinde has refuted Rhea’s claims, of which Smita Parikh has a recording, and which Rhea has also stated in one of her interviews.

“Whatever Rhea said that I didn't raise bills in her case and what people are saying that I offered my services for free is not true. Fees is a matter between me and my client,” her lawyer clarified in a statement.

Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik were questioned separately by the CBI on Friday at the DRDO guest house, sources told Republic TV. Sushant's ex-flatmate Siddarth Pithani was, however, taken to the CBI headquarters for further interrogation. Four other individuals are being questioned by CBI whose identity hasn’t been revealed yet. 

Rhea has also been asked by the CBI to carry the following set of documents: 

• Account details, transaction details, property papers. 
• Doctors prescription. 
• Consultation / appointment acknowledgment of therapy sessions

Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddarth Pithani left the DRDO guest house at 1 PM on Friday after being interrogated by the CBI. Pithani was present for questioning along with Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Samuel Miranda, cook Neeraj. 

After summoning four alleged drug peddlers earlier in the day for their alleged dealings in banned drugs in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case on Friday, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) sources told Republic Media Network that Rhea Chakraborty and others "are just the tip of the iceberg". In a massive newsbreak, Republic TV has learned that the NCB's scope of the investigation is far larger. 

'Summons will be issued at the right time'

"Our probe is different. While we have registered a case against Rhea and others, we have a clear cut mandate that we will probe the whole drug cartel in Mumbai," NCB sources told Republic TV. Sources informed that the agency will not only go after drug peddlers but also the cartels that have been operating with impunity in the country's financial capital. 

Sources added that they will investigate how easily are banned substance and narcotics available not only for Bollywood celebs but also to Mumbaikars. The agency sources said that summons to Rhea Chakraborty and others will be issued "at the right time as they are just the tip of the iceberg."

Shortly after being summoned by the CBI, Rhea Chakraborty arrived at the DRDO Guesthouse for questioning on Friday morning. Her brother Showik was also present with her in the car. 

The SP of CBI SIT Nupur Prasad will question Rhea Chakraborty and she will be confronted with statements of those who stayed in Sushant’s house, sources told Republic TV on Friday. The focus of the line of questioning will be on the events that occurred in the 6 months, including their stay at Waterstone resort.

In the latest development, Gaurav Arya - the alleged drug dealer whose name found a mention in Rhea's chats accessed by Republic TV, is likely to be brought to the Narcotics Control Bureau's (NCB) Mumbai office from Goa, as per sources. 

Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddarth Pithani reached the DRDO guest house in Santa Cruz, Mumbai on Friday morning to face questioning from the CBI. 

Sources have informed Republic TV that Rhea Chakraborty will be questioned by CBI SP Nupur Prasad along with two other inspectors on Friday. The CBI said that the case is at the examination stage and that Rhea Chakraborty's statement to CBI will be used to understand the circumstances leading to Sushant's death.

In the latest development, CBI has issued a summon to Rhea Chakraborty on Friday, sources told Republic TV. Rhea is expected to appear for questioning on Friday morning, as per sources. 

As Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons Rhea Chakraborty's father - Indrajit in connection with the money laundering case in Sushant Singh Rajput's death probe, the deceased actor's family took to Twitter to share ED's note in the case. The note shared by the family on Twitter, shows the ED naming Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Rajput's photographer - Dipesh Sawant, Rhea's talent manager Jaya Saha, Simone Khambatta and Gaurav Arya. The family alleges that the ED has 'nailed the criminal gang that killed Sushant'.

In the latest development, the AIIMS panel has informed CBI that they will have to speak to the Mumbai doctors who had conducted Sushant Singh Rajput's post-mortem for clarifications, according to sources.  

Earlier, the team was expected to submit its findings on Friday.

Four masked persons were brought for interrogation by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday morning. 

In the latest development, sources on Friday informed Republic TV that the NCB is likely to issue summons to Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and Sushant's ex-talent manager Jaya Saha. The NCB is also likely to summon Gaurav Arya - the alleged drug dealer who found a mention in Rhea's chats accessed by Republic earlier. 

Further, sources told Republic TV that An NCB team from the Mumbai unit of the agency is already camping at Goa and has Gaurav Arya under their scanner. Rave parties in Goa and Mumbai are also on the NCB's radar and the unit may make the guests of these parties as it's approvers in this case.

On Thursday, Showik Pithani, Neeraj, and Keshav Bachner were grilled by the CBI for over 14 hours at the CBI's DRDO guest house in Santa Cruz, Mumbai.  

The ED, which has registered a PMLA case, interrogated Rhea Chakraborty's father Indrajit Chakraborty on Thursday. They also probed his bank account details. 

Meanwhile, the NCB officials from Delhi have left the ED office. As per sources, NCB officials were present as the ED grilled Indrajit Chakraborty.

As the Narcotics Control Bureau enters the fray in the death probe of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, sources have informed Republic TV that Rhea Chakraborty is likely to be summoned by the agency as it investigates the drug nexus that has surfaced surrounding the actor's death. 

Sources on Thursday reported that the NCB is ready to question 20 suspects including big names from the Bollywood cartel.  

Earlier the Enforcement Directorate (ED), which broke the narcotics angle in the case, amid its probe into any financial irregularities grilled Showik multiple times for hours. Officials from both Delhi and Mumbai unit of the NCB will carry out the investigation

Rhea's WhatsApp chats expose drug mafia 

On Wednesday, several Whatsapp chats between Rhea and an alleged drug peddler named 'Gaurav Arya' surfaced where the duo was seen discussing the buying and selling of banned narcotics and substances in a big contradiction to her lawyer's statements where he claimed that-- "Rhea has never consumed drugs in her life". The 15-page Whatsapp conversations between Rhea and drug peddlers, handed over to the NCB indicate that Rhea and her associates had discussed spiking Sushant Singh Rajput's tea or coffee with a drug to get a certain 'kick'.
