From starting his career with a daily television show, Pavitra Rishta to acting in Ishaan Bhatt’s big project, Kai Po Che, Sushant Singh Rajput has certainly come a long way. He is currently one of the most popular actors in Bollywood. M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, the biopic of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, proved to be a massive success in his career. During a promotional event of Raabta, the actor revealed some of his favourites movies. Sushant Singh Rajput also added that all these movies inspire him and that their direction is truly remarkable. Classic Movie list

Sushant Singh Rajput is fond of classic and retro movies. He says that these movies inspire his acting and role selection. Well, from his big classic must-watch list, Sushant Singh spilled some of their names. Pather Panchali, a classic from 1955, is one of them. The black-and-white drama film is directed by Satyajit Ray. Garm Hava is another classic from 1974. This film was directed by M.S. Sathyu. The Raabta actor is also a fan of Hollywood classics like Scarface, which was released in 1983, starring renowned American actor Al Pacino.

Mid-century movie list

Sushant Singh Rajput also loves Bollywood romantic films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge from 1995. Other favourites of the young star are Irreversible, a crime-drama film directed by Argentinian filmmaker, Gaspar Noe. Irreversible was released in 2002. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is on Kriti Sanon’s watch list too, the star revealed during the same event.

New tech movies list

The on-screen Dhoni also loves watching new generation tech movies like Avatar and Gravity. Avatar is a sci-fiction movie released in 2009. The film is directed by James Cameron. Gravity is another sci-fi thriller-drama directed by Alfonso Cuarón. The film was released in 2013.
