Sushant's father issues statement: 'No lawyer, CA will represent SSR without my consent'

Hours after the SC verdict, Sushant Singh's father KK Singh issues a new statement where he clearly mentions that he is the 'legal heir' of his late son.

Hours after Supreme Court's verdict giving a go-ahe for a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput death case, late actor's far KK Singh issues a new statement where he clearly mentions that he is 'legal heir' of his late son. He also said that lawyer, chartered accountant, or any or person is allowed to represent Sushant without his consent.

KK Singh, Sushant's far also highlighted that only Varun Singh, ir vocate and through him, Vikas Singh, senior vocate, are representing family. statement comes after some 'lawyers' claimed to be engd by Sushant gave statements in media without family's consent.

Full Statement

It is hereby declared that I am on legal heir of late Shri Sushant Singh Rajput and in that capacity any arrangement that Sushant h during his lifetime for engment of any lawyer, Chartered accountant and or professional came to an end upon death of Sushant and reafter lawyer, CA or or person is entitled to represent estate of Sushant without my express consent. 

Recently, some lawyers have appeared in media claiming mselves to be lawyers engd by Sushant. y have talked on media about alleged privileged communication between Sushant and m. Clearly such disclosure is barred by section 126 of Indian Evidence Act, 1872 and Bar Council of India Rules [Rule 17, Part VI, Chapter II], without my consent, as I am representing estate of Sushant. I have t given any consent to anyone of m to eir continue m to represent Sushant or disclose any communication.

It is is also me clear that only I and my daughters comprise family of Sushant and we have authorized MR Varun Singh as our vocate and through him Mr. Vikas Singh, Sr. vocate, to represent family. Any or person claiming himself to be family member does t have any consent.

SC gives d to CBI probe

Supreme Court on Wednesday has prounced verdict while hearing Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking transfer of probe and gave d for investigation to be conducted by CBI. Supreme Court also directed Mumbai Police to cooperate with CBI during investigation.

Sushant death case: Maj Tiwary, Geeta Phogat hail SC verdict; echo 'truth shall prevail'

A single-judge bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy upheld Bihar government's order to transfer investigation to CBI. Moreover, Justice Roy held that Bihar Police h jurisdiction to register FIR at complaint of Sushant's far. In verdict, bench has directed CBI to probe any or case registered on Dil Bechara actor’s death and surrounding circumstances.

"In event, a new case is registered at Mumbai on same issue, in fitness of things, it would be appropriate if latter case too, gets investigated by same ncy, on strength of this Court’s order. Such enabling order will make it possible for CBI to investigate new case, avoiding rigours of Section 6 of DSPE Act, requiring consent from State of Maharashtra," SC judgement re.
