Subramanian Swamy slams 'freelancers running prematurely' as SC dismisses Sushant-CBI PIL

After SC on Thursday refused to entertain a plea demanding a CBI probe in Actor Sushant Singh Rajput's case, BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy has responded.

After Supreme Court on Thursday refused to entertain a plea filed by a petitioner demanding a CBI investigation in  death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy who has been demanding a CBI probe in matter lashed out that he "cant take charge." Citing reason for same, he said that so many "freelancers" are running to courts prematurely and getting petitions dismissed.

Dr Swamy was responding to a Twitter user who said, " one can be spared when Subramanian Swamy takes charge."

Stating that petitioner Alka Priya has locus stand in matter, apex court said that Mumbai Police is already probing case and suggested petitioner file a PIL in Bombay High Court in order to seek appropriate relief. order was dismissed by a bench headed by Chief Justice of India SA Bobde.

In yet ar significant development in Sushant Singh Rajput death, mounting pressure on Maharashtra Government, Supreme Court Lawyer Sarthak Nayak has filed a petition with Bombay High Court to hand over case to an independent probe ncy instead of case being investigated by Mumbai Police.

Speaking with Republic TV, SC Lawyer lambasted Maharashtra Government and raised several questions holding government responsible for shoddy investigation in actor's death. "Any independent investigating ncy is necessary in order to probe t only role of SSR death but also who is trying to cover it up. Who are people conspiring, who are people behind it?", Nayak questioned.

'I will go to Court': Subramanian Swamy

Subramanian Swamy had been at forefront of demanding CBI investigation on Sushant's death. He had written to Prime Minister seeking a CBI probe and had joined movement for ‘justice’, even lighting a candle for Sushant.

Dr Swamy had earlier said: " way things are developing and things are coming out, it is inevitable that CBI inquiry will take place, in case it is t done, I will go to Court, I am just waiting for Mumbai Police to do its job." Swamy also took to Twitter and requested people of country to urge ir respective MPs to write to PM in order to initiate a probe in case.

Rhea Chakraborty has moved Supreme Court seeking transfer of case from Patna to Mumbai. Sushant's family has filed a caveat in Apex Court asking to be heard before any decision is taken.
