Swara Bhasker up-cycles her late Nani's saree into a suit for an event

Swara Bhasker, one of rising actors in Bollywood, made her debut in industry with a supporting role in 2009 drama Madholal Keep Walking. She saw an upsurge of fame in industry for her role as a bride-to-be in commercially successful romantic comedy Tanu Weds Manu. Swara rose to fame after her lead role in Listen... Amaya. With Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, actor paved her way into competitive film industry. With her work on one end, Swara recently gared tons of attention from her fans for her recent post on her social media handle. 

Swara Bhasker encours up-cycling of clos

 Anaarkali of Aarah actor took to her Instagram to share a picture of herself donning her latest outfit. Reportedly, Swara Bhasker up-cycled her late Nani's silk saree into a pant and suit. She wore  outfit for GQ MOTY Awards 2019. Swara captioned picture saying that fashion industry was one of major contributors to industrial pollution and hence she tried to up-cycle her beloved late Nani's saree into an outfit as a small attempt towards encouraging recycling in nation. Sawara got a lot of praise from her fans and friends who were motivated due to her environmental stand.  Chakde India actor Vidya Malavade, Bollywood actor Shruti Sheth and many more celebrities replied to her post by dropping some inspirational comments. Indeed, Swara Bhasker gave industry an elite example that signified one of primary issues country faces today.

Swara Bhasker on work front

Swara Bhasker was last seen in film Veere Di Wedding which made a mark in  100 crores club, alongside Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. 31-year-old actor features as a model for esteemed magazines like FHM India and Femina. According to reports, Swara will be seen next in Faraz Ansari's upcoming directorial Sheer Qorma, starring Shabana Azmi and Divya Dutta. Director Faraz Ansari shared a picture of Swara Bhasker on his social media handle and revealed that Swara's character in Sheer Qorma would be a reflection of him and also that she has embraced her character very well.
