Taapsee is too hard-working, says 'Saand Ki Aankh' star Bhumi Pednekar

Actors Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar seem to be the new BFF’s in Bollywood. Taapsee and Bhumi came together for the promotions of their recently released film Saand Ki Aankh recently. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film is based on the world’s oldest sharpshooter Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakshi Tomar, who hail from Uttar Pradesh.

This is the first time when Taapsee Pannu shared screen space with Bhumi. While Bhumi plays the character of Chandro Tomar, Taapsee plays the role of her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. Chandro and Prakashi reportedly took up sharpshooting in their 50’s. Chandro Tomar nicknamed as 'Shooter Dadi' has won more than 30 national championships. On the other hand, Prakashi Tomar is often referred to as 'Revolver Dadi'.

Bhumi Pednekar on working with Taapsee Pannu
Recently in an interview with an entertainment portal, Bhumi Pednekar shared her experience of working with Taapsee Pannu. Bhumi said that this project was quite difficult for both of them. However, they took a plunge in the project together, she added. Bhumi described her co-actor as 'too hard-working'.

Bhumi Pedenakar’s Bollywood journey
Since her debut from Dum Laga Ke Haisha to her recent film, Subha Mangal Saavdhaan one can see a major transformation in Bhumi's acting skills. Her outstanding performances in movies like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Lust Stories were lauded by critics and audiences alike. Bhumi believes that the film Saand Ki Aankh focuses on the inequalities faced by women across generations. She reportedly said that though the system did not give any opportunities to Tomar sisters, they broke all barriers nonetheless and inspired everyone.
