In year 2017 released filmmaker Shivam Nair's much-liked action thriller Naam Shabana starring Taapsee Pannu, Maj Bajpayee, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Taapsee Pannu's stupendous performance in movie was highly lauded by both critics and audience. A major highlight of film was jaw-dropping action sequences performed by Bla actor in most enticing way. As per IMDb trivia, for Naam Shabana, makers of action flick zeroed down on Pannu's name as le only because she was trained in mixed arts and Aikido.

Taapsee Pannu is trained in mixed martial arts and this training of her impressed makers and was one of major reason why she was selected for Naam Shabana to play le in movie. Apart from this, makers of Naam Shabana also wanted Thapp actor to undergo Krav Maga and Kudo training for movie. As Taapsee's character in film was that of a secret intelligence nt, who is t just very fit but is physically very strong and trained to combat any enemy coming in way of her mission. This was reason why Taapsee Pannu's fitness level was top-tch during shooting of film. She rigorously trained in Krav Maga, Kudo alongside mixed martial arts for action-thriller.

In fact, Game Over actress did t use any stunt double and performed all dangerous stunts in movie herself. Coming to story of Naam Shabana, movie is a revenge-drama wrapped beautifully by director Shivam who gave it a patriotic angle. Naam Shabana is a prequel of Akshay Kumar's 2015 movie Baby and, National Award-winning actor also me a special appearance in film. As per BO collection, Naam Shabana minted ₹56.09 crores and producers me a decent profit as film was me at a budget of only ₹15 crores.
