Taapsee Pannu talks about audience's response to 'Thappad', says 'received many messages'

Taapsee Pannu, in a recent interview, talked about how audiences reacted to the actor's new film Thappad. Read to know more about the audience reaction.

Although Taapsee Pannu and Anubhav Sinha have collaborated for two movies namely Mulk and Thapp, it was latter that took audiences by storm and Taapsee Pannu was flooded with fan messs. So much so that she lost track after a point of time, revealed actor in a media interview. She also recollected a woman telling her that she might sue makers of Thapp as movie felt like a mirror im of her real life.

Talking more about same, Taapsee Pannu revealed that many men reached out to her, thanking her and praising Thapp. She exclaimed that many men called movie revolutionary and re was one man who stated that Thapp has helped him become a better man in ir life. Furrmore in interview, Taapsee Pannu also talked about criticism makers attracted for domestic worker Sunita’s story.

While Taapsee's character divorced her husband for domestic violence, her maid Sunita h a different trajectory. Talking about same, Taapsee said that resilience and cour Sunita showed to dress her husband's violence was main aim of story, which makers according to her, have tried to portray. Recently, Thapp was premiered on Amazon Prime Video, and reportedly, she received plenty of messs and emails from fans soon after premiere.

movie, starring Taapsee Pannu, Pavail Gulati, Tanvi Azmi, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Kumud Mishra in le, narrates tale of a woman who after getting slapped by her partner re-evaluates her life. Abhinav Sinha directorial dressed violence and threw light on patriarchy. movie, released in February, reportedly collected Rs. 29 crores at box office.
