After giving huge successes in the Telegu film industry, Taapsee Pannu debuted in the Bollywood industry with Chashme Baddoor (2010). She has been in the Hindi film industry for almost a decade now and has been very successful in creating a huge fan-base for herself. She has 14.1 million followers on her official Instagram handle, and she is very active on it. The actor recently posted a cute ‘no filter’ selfie, that seemed to have been taken at her ongoing shoot location. On the work front

Taapsee Pannu was recently seen playing an elderly sharpshooter, along with Bhumi Pednekar in the movie, Saand Ki Aankh. The movie was directed by Tushar Hiranandani, and was based on the lives of Prakashi and Chandro Tomar, who started out sharpshooting in their 60s. To prepare for the role, Taapsee underwent months of training and learnt how to shoot. She even learnt the local accent and lifestyle of the villagers. Saand Ki Aankh, released on October 25, 2019, met with positive critical response. Taapsee Pannu received heaps of praises for her performance in the movie. It has also proved to be a moderate success at the box-office.

Taapsee Pannu will be appearing on the comedy series One Mic Stand, where she will be performing a stand-up comedy act. The show will premier on the online streaming platform, Amazon Prime, on November 15, 2019. Taapsee will next be seen in theatres in Anubhav Sinha’s female-centric movie, Thappad. The movie co-stars Dia Mirza, Manoj Pahwa, and Pavail Gulati. Thappad is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha under the banners of T-Series and Benaras Media Works. The film will be hitting the silver screens on March 6, 2020.
