After her moving performance in 'Mulk', actor Taapsee Pannu is all set to reunite with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha yet again for her upcoming venture 'Thappad'.

After her moving performance in 'Mulk', Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu is all set to reunite with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha yet again for her upcoming venture 'Thappad'. The film that apparently went on floors yesterday will be dedicated to the women of India. Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha took to Twitter on Sunday, September 6, and shared a picture of him and Taapsee performing inaugratory rituals of the film. In the post, he revealed that the film is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 6, 2020.
"Eleven is an auspicious number and this is my eleventh film and probably the toughest so far. Keep us blessed. This one is dedicated to the women of India. See you Mar 6, 2020. @itsBhushanKumar" Anubhav Sinha wrote in the post.

Mulk
'Mulk' which was Taapsee Pannu's first collaboration with the director released on 3rd August 2018. The film also featured Rishi Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles. The social-thriller was jointly produced by Deepak Mukut and Anubhav Sinha.

Taapsee Pannu in 'Rashmi Rocket'
Meanwhile, after winning hearts with her role as Kritika Aggarwal in recent outing 'Mission Mangal', Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu also announced her upcoming sports drama 'Rashmi Rocket'. 'Rashmi Rocket' is the second film where Taapsee Pannu will be portraying the role of an athlete after 2018 hit film 'Soorma' which also starred Diljit Dosanjh. Although nothing has been revealed about the plot of the film, 'Rashmi Rocket' seems to be the story of a girl from a small village who aspires to become a successful athlete one day. In the post, the actress has revealed that the film will go on floors soon. She unveiled the first motion poster of the movie on her Twitter handle which features her dressed in salwar kurta coupled with a choker around her neck and a big nose pin. Her tattoed neck and fingers and curly locks will definitely leave you intrigued.

'Rashmi Rocket' will be helmed by Akarsh Khurana, who had last helmed the 2018 comedy-drama 'Karwaan'. The film will be jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya.
What's next for Taapsee Pannu
Taapsee Pannu is currently awaiting the release of her yet another sports biopic 'Saand Ki Aankh'. The film which is based on the lives of world's oldest sharpshooters -- Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead.
