'Taboo topics need to be addressed': Ayushmann Khaurrana on 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan'
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana who is known to slay with his impeccable acting skills recently celebrated 1 year of his film 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan'.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana recently took to Instagram and penned a te while celebrating one year of his critically acclaimed film Shubh Mangal Zyaa Saavdhaan. actor has earned praises for impeccable acting skills and breaking stereo with a portrayal of iconic characters on silver screen. In movie Shubh Mangal Zyaa Saavdhaan, Ayushmann dressed a real-life issue and he played role of a homosexual man. He represented issues and struggles faced by community in a light-hearted, yet sensitive movie. In te, actor explained breaking taboos and changing mindset of people through power of cinema.

Ayushmann shared a series of still from film where he could be seen speaking about homophobia with a loudspeaker in his hand wearing a rainbow cape. While captioning post, Freak Girl actor wrote, "Taboo topics need to be constantly dressed through our cinema because it can really help alter mindset of people. It takes a lot of time and effort to rmalise taboo subjects and bring about constructive changes in society". He furr ded, "I'm gl that we tried to contribute towards making conversation about same-sex relationships in India mainstream through Shubh Mangal Zya Saavdhan".

Apart from Ayushmann and Jitendra, film also starred Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao in le roles. story of film revolves around Aman and Kartik, who work toger in New Delhi, and later when ir romantic relationship blossoms y decide to visit Allahab on occasion of Aman’s sister's wedding to confront Aman’s educated parents. But ir journey takes a different turn. Aman, as a small-town guy, fears impact of his confrontation with his parents. Meanwhile, on work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is currently shooting with filmmaker Anubhav Sinha for film titled Anek. Khurrana was last seen in Shoojit Sircar's 2020 release Gulabo Sitabo.
