Tabu has also been a part of a few international projects including a leading role in Mira Nair’s drama The Namesake and a supporting role in Ang Lee’s highly successful adventure film Life of Pi. Hauli Hauli is the promotional song of the movie De De Pyaar De. The song is the remake of Garry Sandhu’s Punjabi Song Yeah Baby. Hauli Hauli is sung by Neha Kakkar and Garry Sandhu and is composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The video of the song features Tabu, Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.

Hum Saath-Saath Hain

Hum Saath-Saath Hain is the title track of the 1999 movie Hum Saath-Saath Hain. The lyrics to the song were given by Dev Kohli, Ravindra Raval, Shashank, and R. Kiran Kumar. The song is sung by Hariharan, Anuradha Paudwal, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and Alka Yagnik. The video of the song features Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Mohnish Bahl, Sonali Bendre, Karishma Kapoor, and Tabu.

Tabu’s upcoming project Jawaani Jaaneman

Jawaani Janneman is a romantic-comedy movie helmed by Nitin Kakkar. The movie is bankrolled by Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment in collaboration with Saif Ali Khan’s Black and Knight Film. The movie stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Alaia Furniturewalla in pivotal roles. Saif Ali Khan and Tabu will be reportedly seen playing the role of father and mother to Alaia Furniturewalla. The movie also marks Alaia’s debut in the Bollywood film industry. The movie was set to release on November 29, 2019, however, the makers want to shoot a promotional song for the movie. Hence the release date of the movie is postponed to next year and the new release date is not known yet.
