Tahira Kashyap questions people socializing amid COVID, suggests them to 'meet farmers'
Filmmaker Tahira Kashyap reflected her thoughts on people who are socializing and are traveling to other cities and countries amid the ongoing pandemic.

Amid ongoing COVID pandemic, several Bollywood stars have been painting social media blue with ir exotic vacay trips. Sharing a thought-provoking post on same and expressing her concerns over people socializing amid pandemic, filmmaker Tahira Kashyap took to Instagram and penned a post. In post, she called out people for t abiding by COVID protocols and socializing in such uncertain times.

Apart from expressing her concerns over such people, Tahira took a jibe on anti-social people who are walking on footpath of socialite and asked m to join farmer’s protest if y really want to stay out. Sharing same, she wrote, “A worried and dolled up me is wondering why everyone is socializing and traveling like re is tomorrow! Heck even antisocial have changed ir party to go to one! Agar itna hi daring hona hai, meet farmers inste.”

Over time an array of stars have lent ir sup[port to ongoing protest by farmers. While celebrities associated with Punjabi film industry h been raising ir voice, w those from Hindi film industry also joined. After Dharmendra, Priyanka Chopra, and Sonu Sood, actors like Sonam K Ahuja, Parineeti Chopra, Preity Zinta, among ors also lent ir support to farmers and sought a quick resolution of impasse. Sharing pictures of farmers protesting at borders of Delhi, Preity Zinta wrote that her heart went out to farmers and ir families protesting in cold in this pandemic.
Meanwhile, agitated farmers h called for ‘Bharat Band’ to make ir voice more far-reaching against new farm bills. In wake of Bharat Bandh called by farmers and supported by opposition parties, Uttar Presh Deputy CM Keshav Pras Maurya has requested farmers to withdraw Bharat Bandh and has also slammed opposition for playing politics over farmers' protest.
