Tanuja turns 75: Kajol shares adorable post for her 'super mom'
Veteran actor Tanuja turned 75 on Monday. Kajol shared celebration videos including old pics. Kajol said she taught her what ‘super in superwoman’ stood for.

After quipping over ir role reversal on Daughters’ Day on Sunday, former had ar reason to hail her mor. veteran actor turned 75 on Monday and ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ star was profuse in her praise of ‘super mom’ and woman who taught her what ‘super in superwoman stood for.’

Tanuja’s near and dear ones it seems got toger for her special milestone as Kajol’s video on Instagram seemed to indicate. In video, several photographs of ‘Birthday Girl’, in form of sketches, including those from her appearances in films, with her daughters Kajol and Tanishaa Mukerji, and with title ‘75 and fabulous’ are spread out.
With music in background and some people, it seemed that Tanuja was turning 75 indeed in a a ‘fabulous’ way.

Kajol captioned her post, “Wishing my awesomely super mom an awesomely super birthday . She's one who taught me what super in superwoman stood for! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤”
Tanishaa also shared a picture of Tanuja smilingly looking outside and captioned it, “Happy birthday day mommy! 💫🦄💕”

Tanuja's career
Tanuja enjoyed immense popularity in ‘60s and ‘70s where she featured in several films opposite Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra and Sanjeev Kumar. ‘Jewel Thief’, ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, ‘Mere Jeevan Sathi’ were some of her loved films from that era.
Tanuja was houred with Filmfare Best Supporting Actress for ‘Paisa Ya Pyaar’ and was also felicitated with Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.

In May earlier this year, Tanuja had recently been diagsed with diverticulitis and was hospitalised, before recovering from it.
Among last table on-screen appearances, Tanuja featured in 2016 film ‘A Death in Gunj’ which was directed by Konkona Sen Sharma and featured Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey, Vikrant Massey, Om Puri, Jim Sarbh, among ors.
Before Tanuja’s birthday, Kajol had shared an adorable snap on Instagram where her mor is seated on her lap and termed it as 'Two daughters and two moms' and ir 'positions reversed' on Daughters Day.
