Tanushree Dutta Controversy: Simi Garewal Puts Out A Strong Message
Television host Simi Garewal took to Twitter and posted a very strong message in support of the claims made by Tanushree Dutta on sexual harassment

Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta recently shed light on the incident that happened on the sets of the film 'Horn OK Please' in 2008. The actress accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment and for aggressive behaviour. The actress had first made these allegations against the veteran actor in 2008, but her voice went unheard. However, during a recent interview, while talking about the #MeToo movement, she spoke about the incident and narrated it. This incident has gained much traction, with several Bollywood celebrities speaking in support of the actress, while some chose to keep mum. Several eminent personalities from Bollywood came out in support of Tanushree Dutta including Sonam Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Swara Bhasker, Richa Chadha, Farhan Akhtar, Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra and Anurag Kashyap to name a few.
Now, actress and talk show hostess Simi Garewal has sent out a strong message in support of Tanushree Dutta. She addressed the larger issue that is prevalent in the industry and how it has taken away the career of several women.

"#TanushreeDutta I've heard horror stories thru the years of this predatory jungle. Some girls became stars. Others disappeared quietly. Yes they took away your career. They darkened 10 years of your life. But they can't take away your voice & your courage," she wrote.

Tanushree Dutta had further lashed out at renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya for pressurising her for an intimate sequence in the song. The actress also accused producer Sami Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang of harassing her on the sets of the film.
Meanwhile, Nana Patekar who is currently shooting for 'Housefull 4' in Jaisalmer, broke his silence over the matter and denied the accusations, stating that there were about 50 to 100 people on the sets of the film. He went on to add that he will see what can be done legally.
