Telangana BJP opposes 'RRR'; says Rajamouli's movie 'hurts feelings of tribal people'
Telangana BJP opposed 'RRR' as president Bandi Sanjay said the Rajamouli film hurt the feelings of tribals and that anything against Hindus should be opposed.

Telangana BJP raises questions on RRR
In RRR, Jr NTR plays role modeled on a tribal leer of early 20th century, Komaram Bheem, who h fought against Nizam for liberation of Hyderab. Apart from stylish action sequences, where character is shown displaying his power and passion, recent teaser on occasion of Komaram Bheem's 119th birth anniversary, h concluded with character being seen with a skullcap.
Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay expressed his opposition to portrayal. “We are opposing act of keeping a hat on Komaram Bheem in Rajamouli’s upcoming movie. Somebody put a cap on God of Tribals, who is Komaram Bheem. Do same people have cour to put vermillion to photos of Nizam and Owaisi?” he was quoted as saying by ANI.

politician also said, “This movie hurts feelings of tribal people. We respect m and it is our trition. We cant spare someone if Hindu's emotions are hurt."
"We are t against actors Junior NTR and Ram Charan or any or actors in movie. ways, it has become a trend to hurt feelings of Hindus. We should all oppose this," he told a public garing in Siddipet.

A few days ago, Komaram Bheem’s grand Sone Rao h also termed portrayal as a ‘distortion’ and warned of protests.

Apart from Komaram Bheem, RRR also features story of ar freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju, whose character is being portrayed by Ram Charan. movie h been anunced as ‘a fictitious story based on two legendary freedom fighters.’ movie also starring Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, has been anunced for release on January 8, 2021, after initial June 30, 2020 date, and amid restrictions due to COVID-19, movie could see ar delay.
