writer of film recently opened up about film in an interview with an entertainment portal. She also spoke about slap being more symbolic rar than just a physical assault. Mrunmayee Lagoo has debuted with this film in terms of writing and was praised for gripping subject. writer was also assisted by Anubhav Sinha, director of film, in this process of scripting.

Talking about one slap scene, Mrunmayee said in interview that she thinks it was important to dress beginning. She mentioned that in case of a man’s b temper being portrayed, whole narrative of film would need to be changed. Mrunmayee ded that many women go through such things and all of m have a starting point, refore everyone needs to identify this specific starting point. She also ded that director Anubhav Sinha assured her that  mess of one slap is t just okay, it is a strong one and people will be able to resonate with it.

Mrunmayee also claimed that film acts as a reassurance to those who are still in such situations. writer also ded that slap was intended to act as a catalyst and a metaphor for something bigger. Mrunmayee mentioned that many people from her own crew h doubts with reason for conflict being just one slap. However, she ded that after completion of film, people found that one slap to be eugh of a reason for a conflict. Mrunmayee also said that her d and husband too felt same way.
