'The best actor award goes to Shahid Kapoor!', declare netizens as the much-celebrated song 'Bekhayali' from 'Kabir Singh' surfaces

'Bekhayali' the much-celebrated song from Shahid Kapoor's upcoming venture 'Kabir Singh' finally surfaced on Friday, May 24. The song has been creating the buzz for quite a while now rightly 'evokes the emotion of heartbreak and love at once'. With gripping scenes and heart-touching lyrics and tune, the track is sure to make its place in the playlist of many. 

The music video features a heartbroken doctor Kabir Singh, played by Shahid Kapoor, who can be seen reminiscing the time he spent with his ladylove, played by Kiara Advani. The 'Haider' actor has overdone the role of the heartbroken lover with anger issues in the song. While their intense romance will make the heart flutter, his eventual deterioration to become an alcoholic will leave heavy-hearted. It is penned by Irshad Kamil and voiced by Sachet Tandon

Announcing the release of the track in a recent Instagram post, Shahid wrote, "You had asked for it and here we are! #Bekhayali out now! #KabirSingh"

The song 'Bekhayali' has been trending on social media ever since it was heard in the background of the trailer of the film which released recently. In fact, several people on the internet had also made their covers of the song, way ahead of its official release. 

Now, as the track finally surfaced, viewers seem to be very much impressed by Shahid's spectacular performance in the same. While they called the song 'break-=up anthem' of the year, they also declared Shahid the best actor.

As per media reports, the film which is a Hindi remake of Tamil film 'Arjun Reddy' is helmed by the same director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It narrates the story of an alcoholic surgeon named Kabir Singh, who has anger management issues. He goes on a self-destructive path after his ex-lover gets married to someone else. The film is written and directed by Sandeep Vanga and is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 21, 2019.
