Ileana D'Cruz bags Ajay Devgn-Abhishek Bachchan's 'The Big Bull', reveals what excited her

After a fairly substantial gap from Bollywood for over one-and-a-half years, Ileana D’Cruz is back with the buzz of B-Town again. The actor will first be seen in the comedy Pagalpanti set to release this Friday. Before showcasing her comedy skills, the actor is also gearing up for another film. She has signed Ajay Devgn’s The Big Bull opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Confirming the film, the Barfi! Star said she is excited to do the role, more so because she isn’t playing the role of a typical Bollywood heroine and neither is she playing a love interest.

In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, Ilena confirmed that she is indeed a part of The Big Bull. The actor stated in the interview that her role in The Big Bull is unlike that of the typical heroine. The Mubarakan star added that she does not have a romantic angle in the movie. She seemed excited about the role lacking the typical romantic heroine part and said, “Thank God.” 

Recently, there were reports that Kabir Singh actor Nikita Dutta will be playing Abhishek Bachchan’s love interest in the movie. It is not clear yet if she will still be a part of the movie. And it could be possible that both are a part of the movie.

The Big Bull 

The Big Bull. stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Ajay Devgn is producing the movie. It is not clear yet if Ajay is also playing any role in the movie, since the titular character had been introduced with Abhishek Bachchan ‘in & as’ The Big Bull. The movie has been directed by Kookie Gulati.The first poster of The Big Bull was unveiled in September. At that time, Ajay had introduced the movie as an ‘An Unreal Story!’

While the Big Bull marks the first collaboration between Ileana and Abhishek, it will be the third collaboration between Ileana and Ajay Devgn. The duo had first shared screen space in Badshaaho, their chemistry was lauded in the movie. While the movie did not live up to expectations, the song picturised on them, Mere Rashke Qamar was a chartbuster. The pair was then seen as husband-wife in the hit Raid. Ileana had only a small role in it, but the romantic songs between the duo were appreciated by the listeners.
