Bombay High court has reportedly dismissed public interest litigation seeking to stop release of movie Kashmir Files. film starring Anupam Kher along with notable actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Prakash Belavi and more tells heartwrenching story of  Kashmir genocide that happened in 1990. Veteran actor Anupam Kher will be essaying role of a Kashmiri Pandit named Pushkar Nath in film.

movie was earlier set to release on Republic Day this year but was compelled to postpone it in wake of surging cases of COVID-19. recently filed PIL was also threatening to delay release of hotly-buzzed film furr, however, court has now provided a relief to makers by giving it a green light.

Bombay HC dismissed PIL against  Kashmir Files 

Taking to ir official Twitter handle, ANI reported that Bombay High Court has provided relief to Vivek Agnihotri directed Kashmir Files as y dismissed petition seeking to stop its release. film will now release on its original date which is March 11, 2022. tweet re, ''Bombay High Court dismisses a petition seeking to stop release of film ' Kashmir Files'. film can now be released on its scheduled date of 11th March.''

For unversed, as per a report from Live Law, PIL was filed by Intezar Hussain Sayed from Uttar Presh who claimed that film hurt religious sentiments of Muslim community. PIL also claimed that film's trailer included 'very potent mixture of inflammatory scenes which are bound to cause communal violence in prevailing circumstances in country.
