'The Lion King': Shah Rukh Khan overwhelmed with the response, thanks his co-stars for 'bringing film to life in Hindi'

The much-loved animation film of the ‘90s ‘The Lion King’ is back on the big screen and it is also highly appreciated by the audience. Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan have voiced for King Mufasa and Simba respectively in the Hindi version of the live-action animated film.
As the film made a remarkable opening at the box office on Friday, July 19, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter and expressed his happiness over the same. Overwhelmed with the response the film is receiving the actor thanked his co-actors and friends for bringing this film to life in Hindi.

Besides Bollywood's favorite father-son duo, other big names who have voiced the Hindi version of the film include: Ashish Vidyarthi as Scar, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa and veteran actor Govardhan Asrani will dub for Zazu.
The animated classic's trailer features our favourite characters in new avatars while keeping the essence of the classic alive. It was released in Indian in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Meanwhile, helmed by Jon Favreau, the Hollywood venture sees Donald Glover lending his voice to the much-loved character of Simba and Queen Bey Beyonce voiced his ladylove Nala. While John Oliver will be heard as Zazu and Seth Rogen will lend his voice to Pumbaa.
