The Sabarmati Report Box Office Collection: Vikrant Massey starrer has been enjoying rave reviews from the audience and celebs. The movie is based on a real-life incident of a train burning in 2002 in Godhra, Gujarat. In the movie, Vikrant plays the role of a journalist, who is on a mission to uncover the truth behind the horrific incident. As it's been a week since the film's release, it had a lukewarm performance at the box office in India.

The movie had a low opening at ₹1.25 crore but over the weekend it witnessed a considerable spike in the collection. However, the real test for it was Monday, and it failed even to maintain a steady pace. On Monday, the movie witnessed a major drop of 61.67 per cent in the daily collection. Despite all the ups and downs, the low-budget movie was able to surpass ₹10 crore mark at the box office in opening week.

On the seventh day of the release, the movie earned approximately ₹1.10 crore at the box office, per Sacnilk. Adding the seven-day collection, the total stands at ₹11.45 crore. The Sabarmati Report had an overall 14.57 per cent Hindi occupancy on Thursday with the maximum reported in Bengaluru (21.25 per cent).

It was expected that the movie might be able to surpass Vikrant's 12th Fail, but it fell short by ₹1.59 crore. However, seeing the reviews and collection trend, the movie might turn out to be a sleeper hit but it is too soon to predict.
