A jump on Saturday and Sunday will help movie score a healthy first-weekend collection. Sabarmati is projected to earn in same range as Vikrant's last hit 12th Fail (2023), which collected ₹1.10 crore on day 1. However, 12th Fail picked up pace after positive reviews and became a sleeper hit with over ₹56 crore collection in India. 

movie is facing tough competition from Diwali releases Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. latest big-screen spectacle Kanguva, starring Suriya, Bobby Deol and Disha Patani is also giving tough competition to Sabarmati Report. Vikrant's film is enjoying patronage in cinema halls in Hyderab, Lucknow, Delhi and Mumbai.
