Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra who is currently in India to promote her upcoming film 'The Sky Is Pink' was recently spotted petting stray dogs.

Priyanka Chopra kickstarted promotions for 'The Sky Is Pink' in India on Tuesday, September 24. The actress looked every bit 'desi' as she arrived for a promotional event in Mumbai donning a beautiful black saree. While the diva posed for the shutterbugs, a stray pooch somehow managed to grab her attention. Priyanka who on many previous ocassion has expressed her love for dogs started petting the stray pooch right away and her gesture has won the hearts of netizens.

Priyanka Chopra who is the proud owner to her pet pooch Diana is known to be quite attached to her and often strikes a pose with the little one. As the pictures of her playing with the stray dog went up on the internet, many people came forward to ask if she misses Diana, who happens to be at her Los Angeles home at the moment.

Meanwhile, directed by Shonali Bose, Priyanka Chopra's 'The Sky Is Pink' is a love story of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary's parents, played by Priyanka and Farhan Akhtar. 'Dangal' actress Zaira Wasim, who recently quit acting, is essaying the role of Aisha in the film. Rohit Saraf is also a part of the cast.

'The Sky Is Pink' narrates an incredible love saga spanning over 25 years, which is narrated through the lens of their teenage daughter - Aisha (Zaira Wasim). Aisha became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13. The upcoming venture premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13 and was widely appreciated by the audience and critics. The initial reviews of 'The Sky Is Pink' describe it as an emotional rollercoaster packed with heart-touching moments.

Bollywood comeback of Priyanka Chopra

Meanwhile, 'The Sky Is Pink' marks Priyanka Chopra's return to Hindi cinema after a hiatus of almost three years. 'The Sky Is Pink' is co-produced by Priyanka Chopra along with Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It is all set to hit the theaters on October 11 this year.
