The Sky is Pink: Priyanka was shooting until 4 days before her wedding

Priyanka Chopra is all set to make her comeback in Bollywood with her upcoming movie The Sky Is Pink. In an interview to People Entertainment, Priyanka Chopra revealed that she was working on the movie until four days before her wedding. Siddharth Roy Kapur, who is producing The Sky is Pink under his Roy Kapur Films banner, said in a statement that Priyanka is a wonderful person and is very professional when it comes to working. She shot the movie until the very eve of her nuptials, which demonstrates how conscientious she is when it comes to her commitments.

Priyanka Chopra revealed that Nick Jonas joined her on the sets of The Sky is Pink for the preparation of their wedding while she was shooting the climax of the movie. She also mentioned that the makers of the movie were accommodating, and they created a separate room as a wedding approval room for her. The entire room consisted of her wedding team and they were working on fonts, fabrics, invites, and tastings while they were filming the movie, she added. The director of the film, Shonali Bose, said that Priyanka Chopra not only worked on the film till four days before her wedding but after shooting an entire scene, she also took a flight to Paris for the fitting of her wedding gown and then came back immediately to shoot again. The director also mentioned that she saw Nick Jonas cry while Priyanka Chopra was shooting an intense scene.

About the movie The Sky is Pink

The Sky is Pink is going to release on October 11, 2019. The film was also premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and it received a 4-minute standing ovation from the audience. The plot of The Sky Is Pink revolves around the real-life story of Aisha Chaudhary (Zaira Wasim), who became a motivational speaker at the age of 13. Zaira Wassim will be seen for the last time on the big screen as she has decided to quit acting for good. Rohit Saraf will be playing the role of Zaira’s brother and will have only limited time on the screen. Fans are very excited about The Sky is Pink and are waiting to watch the romantic drama on screen.
