'The Song of Scorpions': Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar, son Babil share poster

Late actor Irrfan Khan’s last film  Song Of Scorpions is all set to release next year in 2021. After news was anunced, Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar and son Babil Khan shared posts on social media while looking back at time when actor shot for film. Sutapa shared poster of film on Instagram and wrote, “never last time. A journey from finite to infinite.”

Apart from Sutapa, Babil also shared motion poster of his far’s final film.  video begins with a mess, which calls film ‘a golden chance to witness magician on big screen for one last time’. He captioned post and wrote, “One more time, perhaps t last. #songofscorpions.” Fans expressed ir excitement about release of Song Of Scorpions in comments section. One of users wrote, “erly waiting”. Ar user wrote, “Got goosebumps,” while third user wrote, “Magician lives forever - good news to start 2021.” Song Of Scorpions, directed by Anup Singh, premiered at Locar Film Festival in 2017 and will release in atres in India next year. film also starred Golshifteh Farahani and Waheeda Rehman in significant roles.

late versatile actor Irrfan Khan plays role of a camel trer in film. story of movie revolves around twisted love, revenge, and redemptive power of a song.  Song of Scorpions will be released in early 2021 by Parama Spotlight along with 70 MM Talkies. film follows oran (Farahani), a fiercely independent tribal woman who is learning ancient healing art of scorpion-singing from her grandmor Zubeidaa (Rehman). According to a myth, if a scorpion bites you, you will die unless a scorpion-singer sings her song and cures you. Irrfan passed away at of 53 in Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on April 29. He h been battling cancer and his health worsened after a colon infection.
