After much anticipation, Vivek Agnihotri has revealed the release date of his next directorial, The Vaccine War. While he was teasing a clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar at the box office, The Kashmir Files director confirmed the same with an announcement video released on Independence Day 2023. He also unveiled a teaser of the film on social media, beginning the film's promotions.

On the occasion of Independence Day, Vivek Agnihotri released the teaser of The Vaccine War. The intriguing clip has suspenseful music and shows scientists working in a lab. One of the lab workers is seen carrying a lab rat while another one brings fills a syringe with a vaccine. The movie is termed India's first bio-science film and is said to be based on a true story.

The Vaccine War will clash at the box office with Prabhas' Salaar on September 28. Earlier, Vivek's The Kashmir Files and Radhe Shyam clashed at the box office in 2022 and the former emerged on top. It will be interesting to see what happens when the two movies hit the big screens simultaneously in the coming month.
