'The Zoya Factor' is going to hit the big screens on September 20. The film stars Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan in pivotal roles. Abhishek Sharma is the director of the film. Its trailer was launched on YouTube on 29th August 2019.

The trailer depicts the story of Zoya Singh Solanki (Sonam Kapoor), a girl who was born on the day India won its First World Cup in 1983. Zoya works for an advertising firm and gets involved in a photoshoot with the Indian Cricket Team for their new jerseys. The Men In Blue, who have been having bad outings lately are suddenly favoured by' Lady Luck' when Zoya starts hanging out with them. The players notice this soon enough, and Zoya gains a devout following as she is now considered the 'lucky charm' for the India Cricket Team.
The movie explores the ensuing fun, the challenges, and everything in between through Zoya's point of view. Dulquer Salmaan plays 'Nikhil Khoda', the charismatic captain of the Indian Cricket Team. A romantic relationship is shown to blossom between Nikhil and Zoya, even though Nikhil does not really believe in the concept of 'luck'.
THE BOOK OF THE SAME NAME
'The Zoya Factor' is based on the 2008 novel of the same name by Anuja Chauhan. The movie is releasing on the same day as Karan Deol's 'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' and Sanjay Dutt's 'Prasthanam'. It will be interesting to see how all these films fare at the box-office. lThis is director Abhishek Sharma's first movie since 'Parmanu', which released earlier this year. Sonam Kapoor was last seen in 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', while Dulquer's last cinematic outing was the Malayalam movie, 'Oru Yamandam Premakadha.' It would be interesting to see this fresh new pairing on the silver screen. The trailer of 'The Zoya Factor' already has garnered19 million views on YouTube.
