The Zoya Factor: Fans intrigued by SRK's voice in 'Lucky Charm' song

Fans are intrigued to hear Shah Rukh Khan's voiceover in the beginning of Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan's 'The Zoya Factor' first song 'Lucky Charm'.

After the trailer of 'The Zoya Factor' featured Sonam Kapoor as team India's 'Lucky Charm', makers now have released the first song of the film which is dedicated to the lady luck and highlights several Indian superstitions. The new track is an ode and recollection of those beliefs. 

Fans intrigued by Shah Rukh Khan's voice in 'Lucky Charm' song

While the fun phrases have ticked the funnybone of the viewers, another thing that has drawn the attention of the viewers is actor Shah Rukh Khan's voiceover at the beginning of the track. As the track surfaced, Sonam Kapoor shared it in her Twitter handle and in the caption claimed Shah Rukh Khan to be her 'Lucky Charm'.

The Zoya Factor which is based on Anuja Chauhan's 2008 novel of the same name, has a part where the lead protagonist bumps into superstar Shah Rukh Khan during an ad shoot, and following the storyline, there has been a lot of anticipation around SRK's special appearance in the film. In the song, although fans couldn't catch a glimpse of the actor, his voice itself has got them talking.

While there has been no official announcement of Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in 'The Zoya Factor', Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan teased his presence in the film during a recent interview.

'Lucky Charm' song

The very first song of 'The Zoya Factor' has been voiced by Raghuvir Yadav and Shankar Mahadevan with the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composing the lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Home to diverse cultures and unique traditions, India is a country which has some beliefs like - 'Billi raasta kaat jayegi' and 'not to sneeze before stepping out'. The song further shows Sonam Kapoor aka Zoya becoming 'Mata' and being prayed to shower luck on them.

The Zoya Factor 

As per media reports, Sonam Kapoor's 'The Zoya Factor' revolves around a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki, an executive in an advertising agency, who meets the Indian Cricket Team as part of a project. Following an interesting turn of events, she ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. 'The Zoya Factor' is helmed by Abhishek Sharma and is all set to release on September 20, this year.

'The Zoya Factor' is Dulquer Salmaan's second Bollywood project

The film marks Dulquer Salmaan's second project in Bollywood after he made his debut with Irrfan Khan-starrer 'Karwaan' in 2018. Besides him and Sonam Kapoor, 'The Zoya Factor' will also star Sanjay Kapoor and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.
