Although the couple was successful in sweeping the reason behind the break-up under the carpet, it was rumoured that the actor cheated on Bipasha leaving her no choice but to let go of the redundant companionship. In an interview with a news agency, the actor conceded that the two were not on the same page to continue their relationship or pursue marriage.

Kareena turned her affair with Saif Ali Khan into a permanent bond in 2012. Three years later, Shahid was witnessed tying the knot with Mira Rajput.

Seemingly so, both the popular personalities moved on to healthier relationships and now reportedly share a respectful bond with each other.
