Triptii Dimri says her parents were 'taken aback' after seeing her intimate scenes in Animal

Triptii Dimrii has hogged limelight for her limited but impactful role in Animal. actress essays role of Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, which is running successfully in cinema halls now. Triptii's role is in news because of its bold nature. She shares several intimate moments with her co-star Ranbir Kapoor. While actress h earlier said that team me her feel comfortable while shooting bold scenes, she has also revealed her parents' reaction to her role in film.

Did Triptii's parents object to her bold Animal role?

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Triptii shared that her parents were "taken aback" after seeing her much-talked-about intimate scene with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, and told her that she "shouldn't have done it".

"My parents got a little taken aback. (y said) ‘We have never seen something like this in films and you have done it.’ It took m time to get over that scene. y were very sweet to me though. y were like, ‘You shouldn’t have done that… but it’s okay. As parents, we will feel this,’” Qala actress said.

She furr shared how she told her parents that it was her responsibility as an actor to make that part as honest as possible. “I told m I am not doing anything wrong. It’s my job and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don’t see any problem in that. I am an actor and I have to be 100 percent honest with character that I play and I did that,” she ded.  

Triptii says she will play her characters with "utmost honesty"

A week after release of Animal, Triptii's Instagram following went from over 600K to 2.4 million, In an interview with IANS, Triptii said that for her, it is really important as an actor, to not judge character that she is playing.

“I think this is something that I've learned in my acting classes from my acting coach: that every time you do a character, you're given a character to play, play it with utmost honesty,” said actress, who me her debut in 2017.

She ded, “Even if your character is killing people or your character is doing something b or harming someone, you have to feel everything that character is supposed to feel because he's also coming from someplace, and in his he, actions that he's taking are justified.”
