Triptii Dimri to star opposite Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit post Animal success?

Triptii Dimri is currently basking in the success of the recently released film Animal. Despite having less screen time, the actress has managed to gain more attention than the film's female lead Rashmika Mandanna. Now, reports of the actress bagging the lead role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's other hyped project Spirit are doing the rounds on the internet.

Triptii to share screen with Prabhas in Spirit?

Post the success of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, Triptii Dimri attracted all the positive reviews for her character as Zoya -- the love interest of Ranbir Kapoor -- in the film. Soon after, the actor was hailed as the 'national crush'. Meanwhile, reports of the actress being approached for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly-anticipated film Spirit began to make rounds on the internet. However, the actor has finally reacted to the rumours.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Triptii Dimri clarified the rumours and said nothing as such has taken place. The Animal actor said, "No, nothing as of now.”

What do we know about Spirit?

Spirit was announced on the occasion of Prabhas' birthday last year. The film will be helmed by Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal famed director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It is touted to be a action thriller. More details about the Prabhas starrer are kept under wraps. Makers are yet to announce the leading lady of the film.

How's Animal doing at the box office?

Animal opened to positive reviews, while also being called out for its 'misogynistic' comments and 'ill' treatment of women. The film is close to crossing the ₹400 crore mark. It released alongside Meghana Gulzar's Sam Bahadur starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role on December 1. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer, in 9 days of its release, earned a total of₹395.27 crore at the domestic box office, becoming the highest-grossing film of the Tamasha actor.
