Tumbbad completes a year, Sohum Shah hints at possible second film

Tumbbad is an Indian drama fantasy horror movie which released in the year 2018. Recently, the star cast and the makers of the movie commemorated the first anniversary of the mythological film. One of the actors of Tumbbad, Sohum Shah hinted about their dream of turning the movie into a franchise. Here are some details about what the actor told to media.

We want to make a franchise out of Tumbbad

Recently, Sohum Shah, who played one of the leading roles in the 2018 film Tumbbad opened up about how the star cast and the makers want to turn it into a franchise. In interviews with leading portals, Sohum Shah said that they would love to make a prequel or a sequel to their fantasy drama. He also said that they currently are not able to crack a plot for the same. However, he said that they are still pretty much interested in making the second movie as the first movie did well and was loved by the audience.

Sohum Shah said that the second film could be about the story of either Hastar or Pandurang or any other character from the movie for that matter. He also added that when they were making the first movie, they had a story in their mind. Sohum Shah said that they wanted to make the first film because they loved the entire concept and also because it was such a lovely universe. He also told that more movies should be encouraged around a similar space and setup. To conclude, Sohum Shah said that nothing is complicated if you do it with passion.
