University student writes to NHRC asking SSR's 'Dil Bechara' to be released in theatres

A student from Mumbai has written a letter to National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) urging that Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie Dil Bechara be released on big screen. On Tuesday, law student mentioned that movie was Sushant Singh Rajput’s last project and hence it should be released on big screen with 'full respect'. It was revealed a few days back that Dil Bechara would be released on OTT platform, Hotstar Disney plus.

According to a news ncy, law student named Ashish Roy from Mumbai University has written that excuses should be me and that demands of all fans should be taken into consideration. He also ded that movie should be released on a holiday. release of film, which was set to be on OTT platform, should be changed, according to letter. It has been reported that student wants to pay his respect to late actor and hence has asked NHRC to release Dil Bechara in atres.

According to reports, letter also mentioned that film is Sushant Singh Rajput's last project and that would have wished for film to get a atrical release. He ded that Sushant's last wish should be respected. He also claimed that atrical release of Dil Bechara will be a great move to protect interest of Indian citizens. In letter, Ashish Roy urges that movie should be released on a 'special and festive day', like Diwali or New Year.

He was last seen in Netflix film Drive and was working on Dil Bechara, an aptation of Fault in Our Stars, which is w set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24, 2020.
