A Social activist named Yogita Bhayana has filed a case against IMG Venture and its promoter Sunny Verma for allegedly assaulting and sexually harassing a number of women on pretext of giving m opportunities in modelling industry through company.
On August 6, National Women's Commission issued ticed to Urvashi Rautela and a few ors to record witness statements based on complaint filed by Yogita. w, actor Urvashi Rautela has reacted to same and issued an official statement regarding matter.

Urvashi Rautela's statement on matter reads, "In light of shocking development and unfolding of scandalizing allegation pressed on IMG Venture (our n client), I have been attracting a great deal of hatred and animosity from all quarters and have found Myself to be at receiving end of this disgraceful revelation.

My official association with client was purely centred on rendering my services towards on-ground finale event happening in vember as scope of a celebrity jury. I was in capacity involved with selection process, operations of event, and neir is kwledge of same. Owing to collaboration of many of our respected industry friends with this event, my Business manr took plunge and went ahead with association. We are saddened to learn about allegations made on ownership of event surfaced recently on social media and was highly condemn such inhumane acts and behaviour that endangers dignity and safety of our women. I have terminated all our ties with client with immediate effect.
I also, empathize with those candidates who have been victimized at hands of this company and express my solidarity and support towards m. I will be glad to assist m in any possible way and guide m better. I have always advocated and lent our voice for women's rights and empowerment and hopefully, we can create a progressive and secure professional ecosystem for women of our society".

Along with Urvashi Rautela, NCW also named or celebrities like Esha Gupta, Mahesh Bhatt, Ranvijay Singha, Prince Narula, and Mouni Roy to record statements for IMG Case. NCW furr stated through ir social media that named people did t appear to record statement and added that a te of ir n-appearance has been taken into account. y also revealed that Esha Gupta reached out to m and has assured m that she will be present at next hearing on August 18.
