Vaani Kapoor: Upcoming movies of the actor awaited by her fans

Vaani Kapoor started her career in Bollywood with romantic comedy-drama Shudh Desi Romance in 2013. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the movie co-starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra alongside Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. Shudh Desi Romance received positive reviews from the audience and was a hit at the box office. Furthermore, this movie earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Later on, she went ahead with the Tamil remake of Maneesh Sharma’s Band Baaja Baarat, called Aaha Kalyanam in 2014. In 2016, this Delhi girl co-starred in Aditya Chopra’s Befikre alongside Ranveer Singh. According to the Press Trust of India, this movie was extensively shot in Paris within 50 days. Vaani Kapoor is currently working on her upcoming projects, War, and Shamshera. Vaani will be seen as the female lead in Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan starrer, War. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the movie garnered a lot of buzz in its trailer by surpassing 30 million views within 24 hours of release. Fans cannot contain their excitement as War brings both incredibly competent dancers sharing a single frame. Produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, War is slated to release on October 2, 2019.

Shamshera: Struggle for freedom

Vaani Kapoor’s other film in the upcoming list, Shamshera is set in the 1800s. Written and directed by Karan Malhotra, the movie is based on a dacoit tribe who take charge and fight against the British for independence. This action-adventure packed movie showcases the struggle for freedom during the colonial era and how a tribe takes the matter in its own hands to restore independence. Shamshera stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in pivotal roles. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Shamshera is slated to release on July 31, 2020.
