Varun Dhawan also confirmed that Arun Khetarpal’s biography is his upcoming movie. The biopic is a Sriram Raghavan directorial. Arun Khetarpal was a Second Lieutenant Pune, Maharashtra. He was a part of India’s one of the biggest war fights from the 70s. His role in the 1971 Indo-Pak War gained him the Param Vir Chakra. However, he was killed during the Battle of Basantar in the Battlefield of Shakargarh during the Indo-Pakistan War. Arun Khetarpal’s brave behaviour during the war is still respected and marked him as one of the brave Indian army officers. The story of his brave actions is quite interesting, also the movie is based on one of those stories. When the Indian army was falling apart during the war, Arun Khetarpal made a brave move of sacrificing his life for destroying one final tank before he was finally overwhelmed.

The film is also based on a similar plot. This movie will be a comeback collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Sriram Raghavan. Also, Varun Dhawan will play a soldier’s role for the first time. Varun is seen in many comedy dramas and action movies, however, this movie will be a totally different genre for the Student of the Year actor. Currently, Varun Dhawan is working on his upcoming release, Coolie No. 1. He will be seen starring opposite the starlet Sara Ali Khan. The film is directed by David Dhawan. Coolie No. 1 is an official remake of Govinda’s Coolie No 1. The film will release on May 1, 2020.
