Varun Dhawan, one of the most loved stars in Bollywood, is currently gearing up for his next, Coolie no.1. The star, who made his debut with Dharma’s Student of the Year, enjoys a huge fan following. Varun Dhawan and his Filmy Background
Varun Dhawan is the son of one of the most popular directors, David Dhawan. Nephew of actor Anil Dhawan and Rashmi Dhawan, Varun is the second cousin of Punit Malhotra. He is the younger brother of Rohit Dhawan, who is a film director in Bollywood. Actor Siddharth Dhawan is his half-brother. The actor attended Bombay Scottish School and completed his graduation from Nottingham Trent University.
From his family tree, it is pretty evident that Varun Dhawan has a filmy background. The star has grown up with Bollywood all around him. As a kid, the Judwaa 2 star used to accompany his father on his shoots. That is how he is childhood friends with actor Shraddha Kapoor. The duo met when Shakti Kapoor and David Dhawan were shooting for a film together. The star also assisted Karan Johar during My Name is Khan and that is when the director spotted him and chose to cast him in his film. Reportedly, the star is currently dating his childhood friend, Natasha Dalal. He has had a long-standing relationship with her. Natasha is a fashion designer and has own store in Juhu.
Varun was last seen in Kalank alongside Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, and Madhuri Dixit. He is currently gearing up for Street Dancer 3D with Shraddha Kapoor. The film is directed by Remo D’Souza and is set to hit the screens on January 24, 2019. He has also reportedly been roped in for the Coolie no.1 and Shaadi no.1 remake.
