Varun Dhawan confirmed for Ekkees?

Recently, Varun Dhawan was rumoured to begin working for his upcoming film after he finished his schedule of Coolie No. 1 with Sara Ali Khan. He was said to be working on Sriram Raghavan’s next film that is based on a national hero. The film is reportedly titled to be Ekkees and is based on the story of Arun Khetarpal. The film’s title was zeroed down to Ekkees as Arun Khetarpal was only 21 years old when he was martyred.

Varun Dhawan took to Instagram and also shared the first look of the upcoming nationalist film Ekkees, which looked like a painted portrait of Arun Khetarpal, the Indian hero. Arun Khetarpal was a lieutenant in the Indian army and has been awarded the Param Vir Chakra two times. The picture also revealed that the film might be produced in association with Maddock Films. Even though many reports have surfaced around the Sriram Raghavan film starring Varun Dhawan, that it would be called Ekkees.
