Veterans of TV take COVID-19 vaccine; Arun Govil, Mukesh Khanna express thoughts in video

Veterans of the TV industry took the COVID-19 vaccine in Mumbai on Wednesday. Arun Govil, Mukesh Khanna expressed their thoughts in a video.

India continued to take steps towards erication of COVID-19 pandemic. After measures like lockdown in initial days of battle, vaccination has spre a ray of hope among citizens. As vaccination process opened up for senior citizens, some of stars of entertainment industry like Arun Govil, Mukesh Khanna and Shivaji Satam took ir first dose.

Arun Govil posted a video where he was heard saying, " COVID-19 danger has not been defeated yet, so be extremely alert. And those who are eligible for vaccine, should take  vaccine." 

He posted a video from vaccination process, and his conversation with doctor on post-vaccination process. His video also featured like likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Ministers Naveena Patnaik and Arvind Kejriwal taking vaccine.

Mukesh Khanna said, "I want to state that sometimes you should also learn to praise. My country has progressed. When vaccine has arrived, you should take it."

"I h even shared a photo of Shaktiman with a mask, so if Shaktiman also needs a mask, so how much we all are in need of it? One should wear a mask and practice social distance. Corona has come and it will go, so I wish a COVID-" he ded.

He urged everyone to not be afraid of vaccine and stated that when world was appreciating its vaccine-related work, why should citizens have an issue with it.   

Shivaji Satam took vaccine Covishield vaccine at his friend's hospital in Kharghar in Navi Mumbai and hailed 'amazing experience' and 'lovely arrangements.'
