Not only is Vicky Kaushal the heartthrob for millions across the country, but he is also a National award-winning actor. Vicky Kaushal is on a roll these days, and he has been a part of some record-breaking films like Uri: The Surgical Strike, Raazi, and Sanju. Vicky’s role in Raazi as Iqbal Syed made a lot of girls fall in love with him, which soon turned into them going gaga about Vicky after his back-to-back impressive performances. Thus, below are some lesser-known facts that those who call themsleves Vicky Kaushal fans should certainly know.

1)     Swimming is not his cup of tea

Vicky reportedly has admitted that he has hydrophobia, due to which he could not learn swimming. Despite being hydrophobic, he attempted to learn swimming once but failed miserably as he could not get rid of his phobia and the swimming classes turned out to be a disaster for him.

2)     Vicky and Sunny Kaushal both were approached for Gold

Vicky is very fond of his younger brother Sunny Kaushal. He and his brother were approached for playing a role in the movie Gold. Both Sunny and Vicky also auditioned for the film, but Vicky could not take up the role due to other commitments. 3)     He was 16 when he first swore in front of his dad

Vicky and his father reportedly got into an altercation with a 40-year-old intoxicated man who tried to disrespect and misbehave with Kaushal’s father. The Uri actor could not resist and smacked the person on his face using cuss words when he was 16 years old.

4)     He smoked 5 packets of cigarettes a day while prepping for a film

Despite being a non-smoker, Vicky started smoking to get into the character of ACP Raghavan Singh, who is shown to be a chain smoker in the film Raman Raghav 2.0. 5)     He cannot stand horror movies
