Vicky Kaushal in an interview with a leing daily broke his silence and explained what he went through when he first re news. He explained: "It was a very chilled-out party. That video is put out. And right after, I am in hills in Arunachal Presh, with Army, for three-four days, where re is network. Obviously I don't kw. And I have clue that I've become 'charsi of country'!" 

He furr told Mid-Day, "I come back to Bombay, and my mom and d kw everything. y have been watching news. y didn't tell me before, because I would get affected, sitting re [in Arunachal]. So I he to my room. Before going off to sleep, I get on Twitter, and n I'm like, "Hain? FIR! Yeh kya hua?" I'm looking at those videos circling, white thing, and light falling on floor..."

"So I rushed out of my room to check if my mom and d knew about this. And n y just gave a smile, and said, don't worry. I was, like, okay, as long as y kw, I'm sorted. n next day it started affecting me again."

Vicky concluded by saying that he first thought that he should release a clarification but n later realised that it would have been an impulsive reaction. "That is as impulsive as m factualising an assumption, which doesn't make sense. Also, what happens on a social-media trial is this: It starts from, 'y look drunk!' n it becomes, 'Oh, y do look drunk.' And n it becomes, 'se are actors, y are drunk!' n it's, 'How dare y?' 'Shame on m, y're drunk!' You don't kw who to answer. But re are also 10 people asking ors, "Kuch toh dimaag lagao, kya bole jaa rahe ho!" So I h a choice to listen. Or react to much bigger things happening in country than this," Vicky Kaushal told Mid-day.
