Vicky Kaushal cautions fans from his family
In the announcement teaser of the upcoming movie, Vicky Kaushal breaks the fourth wall to address the audience and caution them against his family. He tells them how ‘Family’ is a highly decorated word, but there is ‘bigger lie than that’. The visual then show voices of his family members burdening him with work and then calling him ‘useless’. In the short comic clip, the actor announces that his family is coming to theatres soon.
Giving a brief hint about the plot, in the clip, the actor also exclaimed that his family will “always happily set his dreams on fire’. The film is made by Yash Raj Pictures and is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The movie stars Vicky Kaushal, Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit, Bhuvan Arora, Ashutosh Ujjwal and Bharti Perwani. The makers of the movie shared, “The film is set in the heartland of India and will revolve around the madness that ensues within Vicky’s family due to some sudden developments that are beyond anyone’s control!”
The Great Indian Family releases between major films
The Great Indian Family will release in theatres on September 22. The film is sandwiched between Kangana Ranaut starrer Chandramukhi ,releasing on September 19, and Prabhas starrer Salaar that will release in theatres on September 28. Time will tell wether this a good move.
