On 2nd anniversary of National Award Winning film Uri: Surgical Strike, makers of film unveiled first look of Vicky Kaushal starrer film Immortal Ashwatthama. film is all set to bring back trio including Vicky, director Aditya Dhar, and producer Ronnie Screwvala who got toger for Uri for first time. Ashwatthama is a futuristic sci-fi, based on a character from chapter of Mahabharata.

Several fans of actor were quick eugh to comment below post and expressed ir erness of seeing star stepping into role of Ashwatthama. Vicky Kaushal describes Ashwatthama as biggest film of his career and believes that working with Aditya and Ronnie again is more like a homecoming for him. In a press statement, actor shared his happiness of bagging film and said, “Ashwatthama is Aditya’s dream project and it required backing of a visionary like Ronnie to bring this spectacle to audiences. It’s going to be a new for me as an actor, exploring newest form of techlogy alongside acting. Can’t wait to start journey soon with this wonderful team.” suspense thriller film Uri: Surgical Strike had won several National Awards. Apart from Best Director and Best Actor, film also bagged awards for Best Background Music and Best Sound Design. film starred Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, and Mohit Raina in pivotal roles. Vicky got Best Actor for film and shared it with Ayushmann Khurrana, who won it for Andhadhun.
