Vicky Kaushal, the rising actor of Bollywood, is known for his work in the movie Sanju. Lately, Vicky has been making rounds in the news for his upcoming horror movie Bhoot: Part One - The Haunted Ship. His performance in movies like Sanju, and URI: The Surgical Strike helped him gain popularity among fans. Vicky Kaushal has undergone some impressive body transformations for his roles in Bollywood. Here is a journey of Vicky’s body transformations for the various characters that he played:

His journey

Throughout his journey in Bollywood, Vicky Kaushal has played some of the most distinguished roles in his movies. Right from Vicky’s roles in films like Love Per Square Foot and Lust Stories to his roles in movies like URI: The Surgical Strike and Raazi, Vicky Kaushal’s body transformation was overwhelming. In his 2019 patriotic film URI: The Surgical Strike, he played the role of Major Vihan Singh Shergill, for which he had to gain 20 kilograms of weight, which was pretty tricky due to his previous projects. Vicky Kaushal went through intense workout regimes and also was on a special diet to gain weight and get himself in shape for the robust roles.

Vicky Kaushal’s body transformations are evident in all of his on-screen appearances. The looks and physique of Sanju’s Kamlesh Kanhaiyalal Kapasi can be seen to be completely different from that of his URI: The Surgical Strike character. Vicky Kaushal has stepped into the shoes of a common man to an Army officer in his films, and thus required him to go through various body transformations to fit the characters. While working on the physique to fit into his characters, Vicky has also had to work a lot on his appearances, body language, and accents to get his hard work on the right track.

His career

Vicky Kaushal is the son of the renowned action director Sham Kaushal. He has worked as an assistant director for Gangs Of Wasseypur; and a production assistant in Asoka The Great. Some of his most notable works include Masaan, Sanju, URI: The Surgical Strike. Vicky Kaushal will next make on-screen appearances in Bhoot: Part One – The Haunted Ship, and Takht.
