Viral: Panchayat Actor Durgesh Kumar Aka Banrakas Walks Red Carpet In Hawai Chappal

Durgesh Kumar, who rose to fame with Panchayat, recently arrived at a show in Hawai chhapal and the video from the same is going viral. The actor is famously known for his dialogue in Panchayat "Dekh raha hai Binod". The show stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav in the lead roles.

Durgesh Kumar takes simplicity to the next level

Panchayata actor attended the Bollywood Hungama OTT Fest On October 4 at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. The actor shared interesting anecdotes from writing a love letter in class 9 to a friend telling him "Daaru pee ke dekho. Acting badhiya hoga’”. However, what grabbed everyone's attention was his footwear. The actor walked the red carpet in Hawai chappal, a green sweatshirt paired with jeans.

Soon after the video went viral, fans flooded the comment section, lauding the actor's simplicity. However, a section of the internet pointed it as a publicity gimmick.

A user wrote, "Dekh raha haina Binod, yeh aadmi bilkul star kai jaise dikhawa kaar raha hai." Another praised the actor and wrote, "Bhaukal Bhaiya ji". The third user wrote, "Jiyoo dada kkkiller".

Durgesh Kumar recalls friend's advice on acting

During the session at the show, the actor was asked if he liked to have foreign liquor. While the actor set the record straight by saying that he has only consumed "desi drinks", he added, "My friends told me, 'Pee ke dekho. Acting badhiya hoga'. Hence, I had it. But then I realized, 'Yeh sab accha cheez nahin hai'.”

This year, Durgesh Kumar was seen in three movies - Laapataa Ladies, Bhakshak and Dedh Bigha Zameen. He is yet to announce his next project.
