Indian Skipper Virat Kohli recently appeared in an interview with Graham Bensinger for his YouTube channel. In the interview, he spoke about his views on fame, recognition and most importantly meeting his wife Anushka Sharma for the first time.
Virat Kohli recalls breaking the ice for the first time:
Recalling the first time he met Sharma, he stated that it was during a shoot, and given she was wearing really high heels, he joked saying, "Didn't you get a higher pair of heels?" He then added, "Then she was like 'excuse me' and then I was like 'no, I am just joking'. My joke became such a weird moment. I was such a fool, to be honest, but she was so confident."
He also went to claim that he was quite 'nervous' to shoot with her and had no idea what to do, so decided to go ahead and crack a joke. Watch the video below-
Virat speaks about his confidential wedding:
In a recent interview, Virat Kohli revealed that the entire wedding plan was executed by Anushka as he was busy with the ongoing series at the time. "So the plan was all executed by Anushka because I was in the middle of the series. So, she (Anushka) figured out the location and everything and she mentioned in pretty categorically that we have to keep it confidential and there was no other way around it.".
Confirming the skipper said that the venue was a top secret and only 45 people were invited. Dishing out further details, he said that it was so 'confidential' that even the driver did not inform them where they were headed.
Cricketing front:
Virat Kohli recently became the only cricketer to score 20,000 international runs in a single decade. The Indian Cricket team recently won the ODI tournament 3-0 against West Indies. Prior to this test, Kohli had 26 Test wins under his belt. Virat Kohli is regarded as one of the most successful captains for the Indian Cricket Team.
