Filmmaker and music composer Vishal Bhardwaj who is kwn for making unconventional films is reportedly planning on apting yet ar famous vel for screen. Reportedly, director is planning to get on to digital with Salman Rushdie's vel 'Midnight's Children'. It is reported that director is planning to collaborate with Netflix for project.

Vikramitya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap were among first Bollywood directors to make a Netflix original series, 'Sacred Games'. series, which is aptation of book by same name written by Vikram Chandra became a hit and people are erly awaiting season 2 of series.

'Midnight's Children' is a 1981 vel by British Indian author Salman Rushdie. It deals with India's transition from British colonialism to independence and partition of British India. It is considered an example of postcolonial, postmodern, and magical realist literature. book won both  Booker Prize and  James Tait Black Memorial Prize in 1981.  It was awarded "Booker of Bookers" Prize and best all-time prize winners in 1993 and 2008 to celebrate Booker Prize 25th and 40th anniversary.

Vishal Bhardwaj has previously directed several or films, which are an aptation of classic work of literature. Some of se films include 'Maqbool' (Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'), 'Omkara'( Shakespeare’s 'Ollo'), 'Haider'(aptation of William Shakespeare's trdy 'Hamlet'),  '7 Khoon Maaf' (an aptation of short story Susanna's Seven Husbands by Ruskin Bond), among ors. His latest film, 'Pataakha' which released on September 28, is based on Chetan Singh Pathik's short story 'Do Behnein'. film is about two sisters who are constantly at war and is a metaphor for war between India-Pakistan. movie has been garnering positive reviews.
