Prominent Bollywood personalities such as Deepika Pukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, and many more on Sunday came out on ir balconies as a part of PM Narendra Modi's Janta Curfew initiative to give a shout-out to people who have been providing medical and or essential services during ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
PM Modi urged people to clap, ring bells or bang utensils for five minutes to show ir appreciation. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi on Monday took to his Twitter handle to show after-effects of banging utensils — broken utensils — due to high enthusiasm by people.

Men, women and children were seen on ir roofs, balconies, verandas and windows beating 'thaalis' or simply clapping to send a mess of solidarity with rest of country fighting pandemic.

Coronavirus crisis in India
As of date, 470 positive cases have been reported of Coronavirus (COVID-19) with Maharashtra reporting highest at 89. Nine deaths have been reported till date. India has suspended all visas and barred travel from Afghanistan, Philippines, EU, UK, China, Malaysia and mandatory 14-day quarantine from several or countries and shut down over 20 states and Union territories.
India has also closed India-Pakistan border and restricted passenger movement at border with Banglesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Myanmar. government is monitoring all suspected cases and issued preventive visories with states declaring disease an epidemic shutting down all educational institutions, monuments, parks, gyms, swimming pools, pubs and banning large garings. All domestic airplanes and trains have ceased operation.
